The megastar recently came to the aid of 2100 farmers by paying off their bank loans at one go.

Yes, Amitabh Bachchan paid off the loans taken by 2100 farmers from Bihar. He had made a promise earlier this year and he stayed true to his words. Amitabh Bachchan shared this on his blog, as he wrote, “A promise made done. The farmers from Bihar that had outstanding loans, picked 2100 of them and paid off their amount with a OTS (One Time Settlement) with the Bank. Called some of them over to Janak and personally gave it to them at the hands of Shweta and Abhishek.”
