Amitabh Bachchan and 102 Not Out director Umesh Shukla reunite for THIS project?

Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor’s 102 Not Out director Umesh Shukla is currently working on a web series that will be aired around April on an OTT platform. The series is titled Modi and as the name suggests the story will be about PM Narendra Modi’s life. While the Oh My God director will wrap up the series soon, he will also start working on a few other scripts. And we hear one out of them is a project he will be especially writing for megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Umesh Shukla and Amitabh Bachchan have worked earlier in 102 Not Out and the film was critically acclaimed. When asked Umesh if he will be directing Mr Bachchan anytime soon, he said that “ I am currently writing one script especially for him and I hope that he really likes it, then definitely we will be working together for the film.” He further added that he has shared the basic idea of the film with Bachchan sahab, who really liked it and if all goes well then we might see Umesh directing the legendary actor once again.

Amitabh Bachan’s role in 102 Not Out was quite appreciated. In fact, it was Umesh’s concept that was loved by many.  Though we know that writing the script and making the film will take some time, we are sure that Umesh will impress us with his latest web-series too.
