Amrita Khanvilkar to play Lalita Shivaji Babar

The film ‘Lalita Shivaji Babar’, which will bring this unparalleled performance to the world, will be released soon. Produced by Akshay Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi, and Endemol Shine India, the film is produced by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar, Rishi Negi, Gaurav Gokhale, Ronita Mitra. Endemol Shine India is making its debut in Marathi with the film ‘Lalita Shivaji Babar’ after bringing many Hindi shows and films to the national and international levels.

Planet Marathi, which takes India and Marathi content to a different level with Endemol Shine India, will surely give a great film to Marathi cinema! Amrita Khanvilkar will be seen in the role of Lalita Shivaji Babar, and this is her first biopic. On the occasion of Republic Day, the poster of the movie ‘Lalita Shivaji Babar’ has been released and this movie will be released next year i.e. on 26 January 2024.

Amrita Khanvilkar says about getting the opportunity to play the role of ‘Lalita Babar’, “Getting to play a character who has taken the name of our country to the global stage. I am studying her body language, her nature, her practice, her behavior as a person, and all these nuances. Trying to understand them, so that I can do full justice to the character.”
