Sonam K Ahuja is known to speak her mind fearlessly. Her marriage to Anand Ahuja was the talk of the town last year when they got married. And Anand and Sonam have been giving us relationship goals since then with the chemistry and ideals they both share. Sonam recently attended the 35th Annual session of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) along with tennis star Sania Mirza. Sonam candidly spoke about gender equality in her work and personal space and the important role her husband Anand plays in making her feel at par with him on all levels.
“In cinema world, I was not treated as an equal but treated as a woman. But I realised it soon that women should not compromise. But art is reflection of the society. After marriage, my husband is my cheerleader and as a support, he added my name in his middle name and has become Anand Sonam Ahuja,” Sonam said in a statement.
