After all the speculations surrounding the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake, the makers have finally announced the official cast. And yes, you will be stunned! Though we knew that Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan were signed for the film, the third lead was a mystery. We had heard that Shraddha Kapoor was going to be in the film. However, she took up Street Dancer, another T Series film. And so, she could not allot her dates for this one! The makers even ruled out Taapsee Pannu as well. So who is the third lead?
Well, it is none other than Bhumi Pednekar. Yes, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar will romance Kartik Aaryan in the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by T Series and BR Studios, the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake is an adaptation of the 1978 film. However, the makers have attempted to contemporise it to resonate with the current audience. The makers even released the first picture of the trio today (January 19) and we have to say they look sizzling together.
In the picture, we see Ananya sporting a white crop top with pink palazzos. Kartik is seen holding his hands and sporting a cool blue tee and jeans. However, he is looking towards Bhumi, who is seen wearing a blue crop top paired with dungarees. Bhumi is also looking at Kartik and has her arms around him. Talking about the cast, Bhushan Kumar of T Series mentions, “Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are new age actors who are talented and add their spark to the story. We have worked with Kartik in SKTKS and we are glad that we are working again.
