Angrezi Medium first look: Irrfan Khan gives a sneak peek of his character – Mr Champakji

Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium was quite successful when it released in 2017. We had earlier reported that the shoot for the sequel of Hindi Medium has commenced in Udaipur, and we can’t be more excited! The makers shared some pictures from the sets disclosing the movie’s look and feel while making some other things clear in the process. Homi Adajania will be directing Angrezi Medium, the sequel to Hindi Medium. We hear that there is no connection between the two movies, and Angrezi Medium is a completely fresh story. Adding further freshness to it is the new star cast which includes Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan. Irrfan Khan has been in the news due to his illness for which he has been undergoing a lot of treatment. But fans couldn’t contain themselves when this news finally broke.

Irrfan surprised his fans when he took to Instagram to share a picture from the sets of Angrezi Medium. From the looks of it, it’s quite clear that the sweet shop Ghasitaram Mishthan Bhandar aka GMB has an important role in the plot of the sequel. From the caption, we can see that GMB has been serving sweet lovers from the 1900s. Dropping some more hints, it looks like Irrfan might be playing the character of Champakji. Well, all these hints are fresh ideas with no relation to the original prequel. According to several reports, Radhika Madan will be playing Kareena Kapoor Khan and Irrfan Khan’s daughter in the movie. Bebo will be joining the crew for the shoot in Udaipur soon. We hear that the shoot will take place in Udaipur and London, but the release date hasn’t been announced yet.
