Angrezi Medium: Kareena Kapoor kickstarts prep; to join the team on THIS date

Dinesh Vijan’s Angrezi Medium is one of the most anticipated movies. The audience is looking forward to see Irrfan Khan on the big screen again, post his treatment for neuroendocrine tumour. Not just that, Irrfan’s first on-screen appearance with Kareena Kapoor Khan is also something everybody is rooting for! However, as we revealed to you, Kareena won’t be playing his love interest. She will be exploring a new character in Angrezi Medium, as she turns into a cop for the movie. And from what we hear, Bebo has already kickstarted her prep. We also know when the actress will start the shoot for Angrezi Medium.

Kareena Kapoor Khan will join the team for the Mumbai schedule on May 15. In fact, contrary to rumours that she will join the Angrezi Medium shoot only in June, Bebo will kickstart her part by mid-May. According to a report in a tabloid, the actress has already talked about her character in length with director Homi Adjania and has started prepping for her role. She will shoot in Mumbai for around a week, before flying off to London in June for the major chuck of the film’s shoot. Interestingly, this will be the first time Bebo will essay the role of a cop in a narrative and the fans are excited to see her in this avatar.

For those of you who don’t know, Irrfan will be essaying the role of a sweet shop businessman in Angrezi Medium. Radhika Madan, on the other hand, plays his daughter, who is ambitious and wants to study abroad. Deepak Dobriyal will also be playing a pivotal role in the film.
