While many B-townies have already marked their attendance in meeting our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Anil Kapoor joins the brigade today. Anil seems to be very happy and excited after meeting the PM. Read ahead to know more.

Anil later tweeted a picture of him with PM Narendra Modi. He captioned the picture saying, “I had the opportunity to meet our h’ble Prime Minister @narendramodiJi today & I stand humbled and inspired in the wake of our conversation. His vision and his charisma are infectious & I’m grateful for the chance to have witnessed it in person”. We still don’t know what the purpose of this meeting was, but Anil Kapoor is very happy as you can figure out from the caption. Earlier this month, many big names from Bollywood also had a meeting with the PM, and everyone is so curious to know the reason, creating speculations regarding the same. The pics of the stars and the PM have flooded social media. The list of people who met the PM earlier includes Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushmann Khuranna and many more. Anil Kapoor’s name now joins the list.

Anil Kapoor will be next seen in the film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga, playing his real daughter Sonam’s father in the film. The film is also a unique love story that explores the same-sex relationship angle with a new and fresh perspective. This one is slated to release on Febraury 1, and stars Rajkummar Rao and Sonam Kapoor in the leads. There is also a film being made on our Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled PM NARENDRA MODI, in which Vivek Oberoi will be seen portraying the titular role, and has undergone a complete transformation. The poster of the film is out, but there is no release date announced as yet
