Taapsee Pannu is in the best phase of her career with back to back films and most of them successful ventures. The actress is now all set to collaborate with her Mulk director once again in a social drama titled Thappad. The project was announced a while back and today Taapsee took to Instagram to announce the release date of the film in the most candid way. Thappad is all set to release in March next year and below are all the details.

Thappad starring Taapsee in the lead will release on March 8, 2020 and the film will go on floors soon. Taapsee while announcing the same put up a picture while dining with Anubhav and had a candid caption. The actress wrote, “Cheers to the new beginning…. This one is a subject way too close to my heart. I’ve been wanting to do this since years. And it becomes exciting when it happens with the ‘Man of The Moment’ @anubhavsinhaa 8th March 2020 will surely be the day to watch out for ! And ofcourse new beginnings need to be celebrated with some kickass food from Munna Da Dhaba!”

Thappad is said to be a social drama which will talk about male domination in our society. Anubhav Sinha’s recently released Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khurrana is running successfully in theatres and the film has got an thumbs up from critics as well.
