Anurag Kashyap tweets in Taapsee Pannu’s defense after Rangoli Chandel calls her Kangana Ranaut’s ‘sasti copy’

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Judgementall Hai Kya has created a good amount of buzz with the trailer. However amidst all the praise pouring in for the trailer from the B-Towners and the fans, there seems to a Twitter war brewing between none other than Rangoli Chandel and Anurag Kashyap!

Yes that’s right. We told you earlier how Rangoli had called out Taapsee Pannu in a tweet and called her a ‘sasti copy’ of Kangana Ranaut. This was triggered by Taapsee not acknowledging Kangana in her praise for the trailer of Judgementall Hai Kya, as well as some earlier remarks that she had made about the Queenstar. Taapsee praising the trailer wrote, “This is so cool!!!! Always had high expectations out of this one n this looks so worth it !” To which Rangoli calling her a copy of Kangana said that she never acknowledges Kangana and wrote, “Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Tapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy.”

Rangoli calling Taapsee a ‘sasti copy’ however didn’t go down well with Anurag Kashyap, who wrote, “Come on Rangoli.. this is going too far.. this is really really desperate.. I really don’t know what to say to this . Having worked with both your sister and Taapsee .. I just don’t get this ..praising the trailer means praising all aspect of it. Which includes Kangana.”

To which Rangoli replied, “Sir you can see it’s not about mentioning Kangana so much, clearly lot of people I have thanked haven’t mentioned her, it’s just that I am tired of people taking digs at her, who is this Taapsee to claim that Kangana needs double filter….(contd).”

In further three tweets, Rangoli went on to say how Taapsee adores Kangana, but herself has never accepted that in public. She also accused Taapsee of calling Kanagna extremist. Check out all the tweets here:
