Anushka Kaushik wraps up Tigmanshu Dhulia’s web series Garmi

Anushka Kaushik has had an amazing year thus far professionally with projects like Thar, Ghar Waapsi and Crash Course to her credit in 2022. She became a sensation with her impressive performances and people recognised her potential, which reflects in her line up of upcoming projects. After getting love and appreciation for Crash Course, now the actress has wrapped up her next project. Anushka will next be starring in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming web series ‘Garmi’ and the actress has now wrapped up her shoot for the same. The actress had a long schedule of 86 days during which the shoot was done in Bhopal, Prayagraj and Varanasi.

Talking about her shoot for the series, Anushka says, “It was an amazing experience to get to work with such an amazing cast and crew. Tigmanshu sir is a maverick and to get a chance to be directed by him is a once in a lifetime kind of opportunity. His approach towards his work has taught me a lot and it has reflected in my portrayal as well. I can’t wait for the audience to see me in this new avatar.”

The makers have remained tight-lipped on further details of the show and what is known is that Anushka will be playing a pivotal part in the series, in a never-seen-before character. Apart from this series, Anushka will also be seen in Arbaaz Khan’s production ‘Patna Shukla’ where she plays an integral part along with Raveena Tandon, Satish Kaushik and Chandan Roy Sanyal.
