He tweeted on Wednesday (May 1) that due to certain health issues, he wouldn’t be able to make it for the grand finale. However, he wished the finalists good luck and told them to “shine bright and make us proud.” Check out the full tweet here:
Unfortunately can’t make it to the #GreatGrandFinale of #TheVoiceonStarPlus due to my health. 😔
Wishing the best to the top 4 contestants. Shine bright and make us proud. 👍 God bless! @starplus @ArmaanMalik22 @HarshdeepKaur @TheKanikakapoor @AdnanSamiLive @Banijayasia— A.R.Rahman (@arrahman) May 1, 2019
The show’s third season featured new faces as judges in addition to Rahman’s, with Bollywood musical talents Adnan Sami, Armaan Malik, Harshdeep Kaur and Kanika Kapoor taking over. AR Rahman has been busy with his latest passion project, his film (that he wrote and co-produced) 99 Songs starring Bollywood newcomer Ehan Bhat, that will be releasing this year in June.
