Article 15: Ayushmann Khurrana posts an emotional message as he wraps up the movie; calls it the most important film of Indian cinema

Lately, Ayushmann Khurrana is riding high on his career. Yes, from Bareilly Ki Barfi to Andhadhun to Badhaai Ho, all his outings on the big screen have been hits. While the actor has been juggling between different genres and is experimenting with his roles, he will next star in Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15. The upcoming film is an investigative drama where Ayushmann will be seen playing a cop.

This will be the first time Ayushmann will be playing a police officer and the actor seems to be quite excited. As the film wrapped up its last schedule, Ayushmaan took to twitter sharing his excitement. “Wrapped up a film which will become the most relevant and important film of Indian cinema. Thank you @anubhavsinha sir for giving me this gem and also writing the most real cop role ever. Thanks to the entire cast and crew, esp #RonjiniChakraborty and @Ashishsverma for this wonderful 3D mini model of mine. As the name suggests, Article 15 of the Indian Constitution talks about the prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The film also stars Sayani Gupta, Isha Talwar, Kumud Mishra in prominent roles. The film’s official release date is yet to be announced. Apart from this Ayushmann will also star in a film titled Dream Girl.
