Avengers Endgame: Natalie Portman to return as Dr Jane Foster?

Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman made a surprise appearance at the Avengers: Endgame world premiere in Los Angeles leading many on the internet to speculate her return to the universe as Dr Jane Foster (previously seen in the Thor franchise). Portman was last seen in the second instalment of the Thor series Thor: The Dark World where she reprised her role as astrophysicist and Thor’s love interest Dr Jane Foster.

However she hasn’t returned to the MCU since, but her appearance at yesterday’s premier has led many fans to believe that she may be involved in the film, in a surprise twist of events. Check out some of the Twitter reactions below:

Her involvement in Endgame has not been confirmed, however, the likelihood of Jane Foster’s return in the film is extremely low.
