BARC Report week 25: Shivangi Joshi – Mohsin Khan’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai overtakes Kumkum Bhagya

With TV shows pushing the envelope and upping their game to rule TRP charts, the week 25 report has turned out to be quite interesting. In case you don’t remember, last week (week 24) Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya’s Kundali Bhagya was ruling the chart and Shabir Ahluwalia-Sriti Jha’s Kumkum Bhagya followed, but in week 25 TRPs for one of Ekta Kapoor’s show seems to have taken a dip.

Yes, as per the impression on week 25’s BARC report in the Hindi GEC (Urban) category whileKundali Bhagya has taken the first position, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan’s Yeh Rihsta Kya Kehlata Hai has beaten Kumkum Bhagya just by a little more than 500 impressions, taking the second spot. With Kumkum Bhagya on third, the top 3 is completed. On the fourth and fifth position are Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Tujhse Hai Raabta. Surprisingly, no reality show has made it to the top 5 this week, considering that Dance India Dance season 7 started with a bang and was in news throughout. However, the show couldn’t manage to score the leading impressions.

Looking at the Hindi Gec data, Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have taken the top 3 spots respectively. While Reem Shaikh and Sehban Azim’s Tujhse Hai Raabtahas taken the fourth position, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completes the top 5.
