The teaser of John Abraham-starrer Batla House is out and looks impressive. The film was wrapped up quite some time ago and the makers today released the teaser and a new poster. Based on real incident, the film is an intriguing story. John will be essaying the character of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and here is all you need to know about the same.

The new poster of Batla House shows the two guys who were killed in the encounter. The teaser gives us an insight in the intense set up of an encounter. By the end John’s voice-over is heard. The real incident took place a decade ago in Delhi’s Batla House on September 19, 2018. The case is famously known as the Operation Batla House. The film claims to tell what actually happened that day and what all went into the investigation. The trailer of the film is set to come out on July 10.

Set to release on August 15 this year, the film is directed by Nikhil Advani and stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan and Prakash Raj alongside John. Batla House will clash with Prabhas-starrer Saaho and Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal.

Mai Ghat is a biopic. A real story of a mother whose only son was tortured and killed by the police. It’s her struggle for justice for more than a decade. The movie is Director Anant Mahadevan and producer Mohini Gupta.

It may be noted here that the film is also competing in the International section at the International Film Festival of Goa that begins on November 20.
