Today is a big day for cricketer-turned-actor Sreesanth as the Supreme Court has finally served justice to him in the spot-fixing scandal. In 2013, the BCCI imposed a life ban on Sreesanth after his alleged involvement in the IPL spot-fixing scandal. Though in 2015, he was given a clean chit by a Delhi trial court, the Supreme Court has now given him an opportunity to be heard by BCCI’s disciplinary committee. In fact, the cricket board has been asked to consider a fresh punishment for the cricketer within next three months. Sreesanth who has been quite happy with this verdict hopes to stay fit till September or October so that he can play the Ranji Trophy.

While Sreesanth was away from the field, he chose to try his hand at acting. He was seen in Richa Chadha’s Cabaret that was released digitally. Apart from that, Sreesanth also went on to do some reality shows on television. Not too long ago, he was seen on Bigg Boss 12 and went on to become a runner up on the Salman Khan-hosted show. His latest outing on the small screen was with Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi: Jigar Pe Trigger. While on Bigg Boss, Sreesanth got into ugly fights with contestants and even the guest Vikas Gupta. He also developed close friendships with Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar and co-contestant Shivashish Mishra.

He decided to contest in the Kerala Polls in 2016 and got a massive amount of votes. Sreesanth’s wife also revealed to an online portal that he has been practising cricket for a while now. Wouldn’t it be great to see him back on the field? Well, we wonder that after a revised punishment, will Sreesanth juggle between sports and films. We shall keep you updated.
