Recently, Bengali actress Swastika Dutta faced an unfortunate incident, the actress alleged that a cab driver threw her out of his cab while she was on the way to her shoot on Wednesday (July 10). She took to social media to share the incident about how the Uber driver cancelled her ride mid-way and threw her out of the car when she protested about the same.
In her post she wrote, “This actually happened to me, I was humiliated, I was literally thrown out of the car, the reason was I had booked Uber service from my home to my studio (Dassani 2, Rania) exactly at 8.15 am, today, this guy named Jamshed, after picking me up from my location suddenly in the middle of the road cancelled the trip and asked me to get down from the car.” Dutta also shared the picture of the driver with his contact number and the car’s number plate. She also mentioned how she was harassed and is still in shock after the incident.
After this, she filed a complaint and the Kolkata police arrested the accused who is identified as Jamshed. Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Uber called the incident deeply concerning. Until further developments stay tuned to CineBlitz.
