Why did Katrina Kaif sign Bharat? The actress reveals the REAL reason!

Salman Khan’s Bharat has become one of the most anticipated films of the year and the recent posters have only added to the anticipation. The third poster of the film released today. The poster had Salman in the foreground. It also gave us the first complete look of Katrina Kaif. While Katrina Kaif looks great, we all know that she was not the first choice for the film. Priyanka Chopra was. However, Priyanka turned down the offer and Katrina was cast for the role. Today, in an exclusive chat with CineBlitz, Katrina revealed the reason why she opted for Bharat.

Katrina Kaif has been a favourite of director Ali Abbas Zafar. The actress has worked with him in two films earlier and is now gearing up for the third. Bharat is Ali’s third collaboration with Katrina and the film will release this June. Anyway, when Katrina was asked why she chose Bharat, she exclusively told CineBlitz,  “Well, Priyanka was doing the film earlier, but once she slipped out, Ali (Abbas Zafar) sent me
the script. For me, it was a clear decision as I immediately fell in love with the character and thought it was a good opportunity for me. I am happy doing the film.”
