Bharat trailer: Salman Khan excels in this highly-charged entertainer that’s topped with patriotic fervour

Salman Khan’s much-awaited Bharat trailer is out. And we must say that the 3 minute 14 second long trailer had us hooked and excited for more! It is a treat for his fans. Being a Salman Khan film, there’s always a huge buzz in the trade circles, but the industry and his fans across the globe are excited for this one too! The makers had been doing their part in upping the intrigue and excitement around the Eid release by launching teasers and posters prior to the Bharat trailer comes out. And now that the trailer is here, let’s see if it lives up to the hype.

The Bharat trailer is 3 minutes and 14 seconds long and we have to say it is action-packed and high on drama and entertainment. It is about the journey of Salman Khan’s character Bharat, that runs parallel alongwith India’s independence. Along with India’s independence, there’s also the backdrop of partition that’s touched upon. The trailer starts off with Salman Khan being shown as a daredevil stunt rider in a popular circus. He is seen romancing Disha Patani, who is also a part of the circus troupe. We are introduced to his father Jackie Shroff and best friend Sunil Grover with brief shots. But it is Salman Khan  and Katrina Kaif’s meeting that will leave you with a smile. After his circus stint, the superstar is seen applying for work at an oil rig company, where he meets Katrina, Madam Sir. Their chemistry is crackling as always!

Salman Khan works in an oil rig in the Gulf, but an accident changes everything. His fight for survival in that accident is triggered by his father’s dream to have him back in the country. He is also seen as a Naval officer, where he is on a ship and it is attacked by pirates. Overall, the Bharat trailer is action-packed. It is high on energy and it is very entertaining. The way it is shown is fabulous and full credit to Ali Abbas Zafar. The dialogues are killer, especially Salman’s epic lines! A few glimpses of the songs will also make you impatient to see them too! The whole Bharat trailer is also patriotic and will make you feel for the nation.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar. The film is an official adaptation of Korean hit film, Ode to My Father.
