Divyenndu has come a long long way, from being a talented aspirant who went from audition after audition to today being someone who heavyweight production houses are betting on. While the actor became a household name with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, a film that he is still fondly remembered for, he decided to venture into different genres with memorable performances in films like Chashme Baddoor, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Batti Gul Meter Chalu, all of which put him on the map as a promising, young talent who made an impact in both formula films and content-driven one’s.
Then came the emergence of the OTT platform, and Divyenndu took on some demanding, hard-hitting roles in Mirzapur and Bicchoo Ka Khel where he outshown like never before and he not only became the king of Mirzapur but also of the OTT playform.
His portrayals in the show made him one of the most sought after names and from being a starry-eyed aspirant Divyenndu had established himself as a powerhouse talent to reckon with. What worked in the actor’s favour was his versatility and how this FTTI alumni transformed himself with every character, whether it was looking the part or adopting the dialect and mannerisms.
Big studios sat up and took notice and the actor now has promising projects lined with them including Carnival Cinemas’ ‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti’, YRF’s web series ‘The Railway Men’. As per reports he also has an unannounced project with Applause Entertainment and another with Imtiyaz Ali.
