After impressing everyone with his performance in Thackeray, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to entertain his fans with his next offering titled Bole Chudiyan. The film will mark Nawaz’s first appearance with Tamannaah Bhatia but that is not the only exciting part about the film. Nawazuddin will be following Ranveer Singh’s footsteps and debut into rapping with this film.
Yes, Nawazuddin will sing a rap for Tamannaah in the song titled Swaggy Chudiyan. This will be the first time Nawaz will rap and we are sure that the fans are excited to see him in this new avatar. Not revealing much about the film, during a media interaction, Nawaz said, “With this rom-com, we have tried to explore a story that is based in western UP. This region has never been explored and I feel many good stories can be picked up from there. We hope to have cracked the script and we are able to give the audience a good story.”
Talking about the song, Nawaz said, “Well, I am not a singer but I have tried my best. My director was able to make me sing, but I never wanted to become a singer. The song needed a raw voice and the makers felt that my voice was perfect for the song. I had to practice a lot. The good thing about this song is that the words itself give a rhythm to the song, so, even if you sing it normally, the tune of the rap falls into place. The song will release soon.”
The film will be directed by Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui and is backed by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia. Anurag Kashyap will also be seen playing an important role in the film. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more news and updates.
