Bollywood actor Vikrant Rai to play a tough cop who solves double murder in Lucknow in Tatkshan

Bollywood Actor Vikrant Rai is in Lucknow these days for the shooting of his next film titled Tatkshan which also features an ensemble cast comprising Akash Pandey from Mirzapur series, Muskaan Lalwani from film Durgamati, Akanksha Pandey from Ashram series & Gaurav Singh from Tajmahal 1989 series fame. By the way, Tatkshan is a Sanskrit word for Instant. Genre of the movie is thriller. Uvaa star Vikrant who is known to get under the skin of his character has been preparing for this role for a while, right from changing his physical looks to understanding the mentality & psyche of a Uttar Pradesh cop while investigating a case.

The film revolves around a gruesome murder in Lucknow and Vikrant plays the role of a upright Sub Inspector who happens to investigate the sensational case. This is the first time Vikrant will be seen in totally different avatar.The film Tatkshan is being produced by Prem Singh & Shishir Tiwari of Bhurv Group from Lucknow and directed by debutant director Vaibhav Verma who in the past has been associated with B R Chopra productions as script writer and as creative art director for a famous series Inside Edge Season 2. The film will be shot in one scedule entirely in Lucknow at real locations and is slated to release in theatres across India on January 14, 2022.

Vikrant is also acting in the romantic Web SERIES titled LOVE YOU ZINDAGI which has been lined up for early streaming in a popular OTT platform and has signed another biography titled THE PINK AUTO, for which he will shoot immediately after completing TATKSHAN.
