Since yesterday, producer Boney Kapoor has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. After reports of him touching actress Urvashi Rautela inappropriately hit the web, everyone on social media started slamming the 63-year-old. Yes, a video from producer Jayantilal Gada’s son Aksshay’s wedding has gone viral on the internet wherein Boney is seen posing with Urvashi at the red-carpet. While media reports claimed that he touched Urvashi the wrong way on the red carpet, the young actress later came out and slammed all the reports on social media. She took to Twitter and denied the incident, however, when we got in touch with her, she asked us to connect with her spokesperson
Talking to us exclusively about the whole Boney-Urvashi fiasco, Urvashi’s spokesperson said, “There was normal gathering, I don’t think there was anything in the video that made such news. Whenever she (Urvashi) meets Boney Kapoorji, he always respects her. He treats her like a daughter. Urvashi has been very sad about all the media reports that have come in.” He further added, “Sometimes some things get captured in the camera in a wrong way, but there is nothing to it. Urvashi was wearing heels and she is tall, so the placing of the hand is an accident. Trolling a respected person this way is not right. I don’t even think he actually touched Urvashi. Urvashi is very upset about what will Boneyji think about such stories. The hype has only been created by the media; they should slow down on this.”
Presumably one of the India's 'SUPREME' newspaper and this is 'NEWS'!!??

Later in the day, Urvashi also asked people on social media to stop trolling Boney Kapoor. Check out her tweets here:
I felt appalled and beyond shocked this morning when i saw social media flooded with trolls of me in a video with respected @BoneyKapoor Sir.
He is a true Gentleman and it makes me feel extremely unhappy and miserable because the social sites/media don't even think twice before pic.twitter.com/VIzuCeeObV— URVASHI RAUTELA (@UrvashiRautela) April 2, 2019

Work wise, Urvashi will next be seen in Anees Bazmee’s multi-starrer Pagalpanti. The film features Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The comic caper is slated to release on November 22, 2019. Though Boney Kapoor hasn’t reacted to any of these reports, we wonder what he will comment on the same. Till then, stay tuned to CineBlitz for more Bollywood news, updates and gossip.
