Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra is actually a whole new “Brahmastra” that the team of the film is exploring. With the innovative logo and the teaser – the excitement for the film has always been high. And director Ayan Mukerji is leaving no stone unturned to make this film look extraordinary. Amidst all the prep and Instagram posts about the making of the film, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani director dropped a major hint about Ranbir Kapoor’s character Shiva.
We all know, Shiva aka Ranbir will have superpowers in the film. And now Ayan revealed what one of those powers will be. In a BTS video shared by Ayan, the team is seen brainstorming ideas for Shiva’s special power and we can see Ranbir and Alia prepping for the scene. The director introduced a member of his team who helped Ranbir and Ayan build the character. In his post, he wrote, “As we started on this movie, the first big question to answer was : How do we create the moves for Shiva’s connection with Fire? Fire being the centre of Shiva’s power in Brahmāstra… a power that comes from ancient Indians, from a deeply spiritual place, from within.” Yes, Ranbir will be seen playing with fire.
He further wrote, “Our time with Ido has taken us from Phuket to Berlin, Mumbai, Tel Aviv and Sofia… The contribution he has made is to be experienced in the movie… but the joy of collaboration like this, filled with growth and learning, is one of the most wonderful things to have happened on this journey.”
