Actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonam K Ahuja, Hina Khan, Diana Penty, Huma Qureshi made heads turn for their fashion ensembles. Afghan filmmaker Shahrbanoo Sadat’s film Parwareshgah (The Orphanage) has the mention of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. That’s not it; the film is highly influenced by Bollywood fantasies and their stories. The Orphanage set during the final years of Soviet occupation and the advent of the Mujahideen is about a teenage Afghan boy who sells movie tickets on black to seek escape from his troubles of life in Bollywood-inspired fantasies. Also in the film, his room is plastered with pinups of Amitabh Bachchan.
