‘Chalo Theek Hai’ split-lovers Amaal Mallik dream co-stars Aishwarya Rai & Kiara Advani; Kartik Aryan in Manpreet’s wish-orbit

Believe it or not, exuberant light-eyed ‘Chalo Theek Hai’ video-music sensation Manpreet Kaur Kaile has already signed four multiple Bollywood and International projects including yet another music-video and Hindi-English thrillers. With her exuberant, photogenic personality, Manpreet seemed the ‘center-of-distraction’ at the exclusive preview event of the upcoming music video ‘Chalo Theek Hai’ The video (releasing on July 4th) produced by multi-faceted Daboo Malik features handsome pop n playback star singer-composer-actor Amaal Mallik (Daboo’s son) opposite newcomer Manpreet Kaur Kaile. Defying her chic westernized dare-bare image the affable Manpreet plays the desi, demure Kashmir-Ki-Kali ethnic yet charming girl in the ‘CTH’ video directed by debutant Krish Trivedi.

While aspiring astronaut Manpreet shared an endearing romantic on-screen chemistry while shooting for ‘Chalo Theek Hai’, she confided to me that currently her “dream-wish is to share screen space in a movie with the hot star of the season ‘Kartik Aryan” (of mega-hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ fame). The outspoken Manpreet (she speaks fluent Hindi) also disclosed to me that although she has now landed on Planet Bollywood, she has still not given up her passion-dreams of future flying into outer space in a space rocket.

“Someday, I even hope to be an active part of a ‘Mission Mars’ space odyssey”,” chuckles the model actress Manpreet who became almost speechless. That was when striking similarities were pointed out between her passion and the flying and astronomy-fascination of ‘late’ heart-throb Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput Reacted Manpreet, “It’s too emotional and sensitive for me to speak about Sushant after the jolt-shock of his sudden passing away. One deeply connects with SSR and his fond memories”.

The romantic song ‘Chalo Theek Hai’ (with the theme of a practical approach to bitter-sweet separation) has been shot in the exotic locations of Kashmir. It will release on the 4th of July. Incidentally, July 4th also happens to be Manpreet Kaur’s father’s birthday and it is also celebrated as America’s Independence Day which is from where Manpreet came to pursue her acting dreams in Bollywood.

Versatile Amaal Mallik was delighted to have composed and sung the song, but he was too excited to be part of the song as “the intense romantic actor too”.  “It’s a multi-dimensional creative-high like how legendary Kishore Kumar Saab used to derive. Talking about the decision of acting in the song Amaal Mallik said that “like singing and composing songs, now I have started enjoying acting too. After acting in three music videos, I have become comfortable now and I am less camera-conscious now. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this song. Believe me, I do my own prep personal self-auditions in advance to check if my playback voice perfectly suits my face in terms of the ‘audio-visual’ blend.

During the shoot, I totally relied on the talented music video (debut) director Krish Trivedi which is his first song as a debut director. I must say that my co-star Manpreet Kaur Kaile has also done a fabulous job in the song. She acted like a seasoned artiste and we had a lot of fun together while shooting the amazing song. I am waiting for the release of the song and dying to get the feedback of all my ardent fans.

After the preview of the music video, Amaal Mallik’s mentor father-producer (“MWM” label) Daboo Mallik (popular actor-noted singer-composer) seemed quite emotional. Reacted Daboo, “Today I am a proud father as Amaal has not only done a good job as a singer and composer but as an actor too.” The song ‘Chalo Theek Hai’ has been produced under the banner of MWM music and presented by Meit Shah of EB5 Florida Real Estate.
