“Chitrashi Rawat and I auditioned together for Dangal,” reveals Sanya Malhotra

The actors will be seen as special guests during this Sunday’s Bollywood Movies Spoof episode where all the eleven comedians will come together as – Team Hasaayenge and make each one of us laugh out loud while recreating their hilarious take of some iconic Hindi movies!

While the hilarious acts put up by all the comedians coupled with the witty reactions of Farah Khan surely left everyone in splits, it was Sanya Malhotra’s candid revelation that caught everyone’s attention. After Chitrashi stole everyone’s hearts in a spoof of the movie Dangal, Sanya Malhotra shared a few anecdotes about the movie and her experience of shooting with Aamir Khan. In fact, she also revealed how Chitrashi had once auditioned alongside her for Dangal. Leaving everyone startled with this revelation, Sanya also went on to mention the incidents that followed between them during the audition.

As Sanya Malhotra revealed, “Not a lot of people know this, but Chitrashi and I had given the audition for Dangal. We had even done workshops together. We also fought a Dangal during the auditions. In fact, the audition process took nearly two months, and I must say, we had a great time together.”

Talking about Aamir Khan’s Mr Perfectionist tag, she further added, “While Aamir Sir strives for perfection, on the sets of Dangal, our director Nitesh Tiwari deserved the Mr Perfectionist tag. He was the real baapu for us, who used to wake us up at 5 am to wrestle and before shooting, we trained for 10 months and only when we were ready, did we start shooting.”
