Abhay Deol and Mithila Palkar’s Netflix Original film Chopsticks garnered a good amount of attention. Chopsticks is the first Indian Netflix original and it looks unique. While we met Nirma played by Mithila Palkar (who is literally named after a washing powder), today (May 11), we met Artist played by Abhay Deol-an elite con man. Read on to know more about the characters and also the film.
Based on the lives of three people- a not so confident girl, a con man and a goat loving gangster, Chopsticks is a slice of life film releasing on the OTT giant Netflix. Set in Mumbai, today (May 11) we are introduced to Abhay Deol’s character- an elite con man who talks about art in food and misdirection while he steals a costly painting. Meanwhile, there’s also Nirma- a translator for Chinese whose car gets stolen by a goat loving gangster. The trailer shows how a con, a girl with a goat set out on a journey to find her stolen car.
