The objectionable trailer of Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha taken off from social media platforms

In a letter addressed to the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, regarding the subject the makers wrote: Withdrawal of the trailer of upcoming Marathi film ‘Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha’ from all social media platforms, Vinay Maurta, Founder & CEO of Trade News Network has stated that in reference to a tweet and press note circulating on social media regarding trailer of the upcoming Marathi movie ‘Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha’ by National Commission for Women, objecting to the depiction of some shots featuring women. they have come across this concern raised by National Commission For Women and have taken due cognizance of the matter immediately.

Their team has been an integral part of the media and entertainment industry for over five decades and have always upheld the integrity of women with all due respect and honesty. He adds, “Before releasing the trailer for the masses, we have taken all necessary precautions and have used all the available features of respective social media platforms to put an age restriction on the movie trailer. For further precaution, we also ensured that within the trailer we highlight that the content is suitable only for audiences aged 18+. As a matter of fact, We have voluntarily promoted and used in all our creatives that the content is only for 18+. However, since all the social platforms are not completely in control of any third party, the trailer has gone viral on the internet.

“We have always taken such concerns in all seriousness and have acted upon them immediately at all times. Keeping in mind the respect of the women and various works done by the National Commission For Women for the welfare of the women, we have already and immediately taken down the trailer from all the social media platforms where the content was uploaded by us. We really appreciate the good work of NCW and all concerned authorities in the past to make the entertainment industry a better place. We hope that this action taken from our end shall suffice and address the concerns raised on the trailer of the movie ‘Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha’.
