Just a day before Ajay Devgn’s film De De Pyaar De released, news broke that three scenes from the film were changed after orders from the CBFC. Out of the three scenes, Rakul Preet Singh’s scene where she is dancing with an alcohol bottle was also snipped. However, the latest buzz is that it was not CBFC who actually who cut the scene, but it was a conscious decision of the filmmakers.

A source from the CBFC informed a news portal that, they never asked for the booze bottle to be replaced by flowers. But the film’s makers voluntarily cut a shot showing the heroine dancing with a booze bottle on her hip. The source added, “They wanted a ‘UA’ and they went to the Tribunal after making that voluntary cut.”  CBFC CEO Tushar also confirmed the same information.

As for the box office collections, the film earned a total of Rs 23.80 crore in two days. The Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Rakul Preet Singh starrer film has been getting mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates from Bollywood.
