Deepak Mukut is a name in Indian film production that started with giving small meaningful cinema to the audience. With time, the essence of his goal just got stronger, while the scale got bigger. Last year he gave the audience two entertaining projects including the biggest female-led Hindi action film Dhaakad and the mystery thriller Forensic. This year, he is aiming to touch new heights by backing some impactful and intriguing cinema, giving them a bigger canvas to play at.

While some producers might get deterred from their path owing to the underwhelming performances of their films, but for Mukut, his determination to deliver big budget, entertaining and socially relevant films has just gotten stronger. He has taken things very positively and despite Dhaakad not performing at the box office as expected, he has still invested money in other entertaining scripts and taken a chance and risk that other producers might shy away from.

The box office fate of Dhaakad has not dampened Mukut’s spirit as he saw the positive side of it. He became an example for many and paved a new path for female-led action films. As 2023 begins, he has already completed the shooting of two of his highly anticipated films including Kanjoos Makkhichoos starring Kunal Kemmu and Shweta Tripathi, which is scheduled to release in the first quarter of the year, and Blind Game featuring Arjun Rampal and Priyamani, which will also be releasing this year.

Post that, he has the horror comedy, The Virgin Tree, headlined by Sanjay Dutt along with Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy and Palak Tiwari. The film is currently in the shooting stage and is expected to wrap up by February end. The producer is going with full swing and he aims to deliver more cinema in the future that stands true to the essence that he believes in.
