Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak release date OUT; film goes on floors today!

We just revealed to you the endearing Deepika Padukone’s first look from Chhapaak. Yes, like all of you, we were also blown away by her avatar. However, if you saw the image as well as her tweet, you’ll realise that she has given out a few more details. First, she announced that Chhapaak goes on floors today. The movie is being shot in Delhi and will then move to a few other cities in the North. Apart from this, Deepika Padukone also revealed the release date of the heartwarming movie. Yes, Chhapaak will hit the screens on January 10, 2020. Exciting year ahead, no? But wait, there’s more!

With a January 10, 2020 release, Deepika Padukone will have no release for nearly two years now. The actress was last seen in Padmaavat (January 25, 2018). Well, we can’t wait to see her on the big screen. Meanwhile, the Meghna Gulzar directorial has also set up a clash with Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero. The historical had also announced its release date yesterday. And we wonder what the outcome of this mega box office clash will be. For those of you who don’t know, Chhapaak is based on the life and struggle of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal from Delhi. Deepika’s character’s name is Malti and it also stars Vikrant Massey. With the film going on floors, we can’t wait to see more pictures and videos coming out from the sets of the movie.
