That Farah Khan is all set to direct the remake of the hit yesteryear comedySatte Pe Satta was announced sometime ago. Naturally, there was excitement to know who will step into megastar Amitabh Bachchan and dream girl Hema Malini’s shoes. While Hrithik Roshan was said to have been roped in for Big B’s role, now, buzz is that Deepika Padukone has been zeroed in to play the character made famous by Hema Malini.
A source close to the development told a portal that while Hrithik was on board previously, Deepika was a unanimous choice for both Farah and producer Rohit Shetty.
