Deepika Padukone unveils her wax statue and Ranveer Singh couldn’t take his eyes off it

The Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone’s most-awaited wax statue has been finally unveiled and it is nothing but gorgeous. Deepika was accompanied by husband Ranveer Singh and he couldn’t take his eyes off the statue. While she was in London to unveil the statue, Deepika went live on her Instagram handle for her fans who were equally excited about the event. Last year, she had even posted a picture on Instagram while choosing the eye-colour for her wax-statue.

The statue is an exact replica of the actress from IIFA 2016 when she wore a champagne-coloured lehenga with a sheer net cape over it. She had accessorized this Sabyasachi creation with diamond-emerald jewellery. This was one of the many iconic sartorial choices from her wardrobe.

The wax statue definitely depicts her success across the globe just like the other Indian icons who have their wax statues at Madame Tussauds. The list includes Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Madhuri Dixit Nene. And now Deepika is one of them. Aren’t we just proud of her?

On the work front, the actress is working on her film Chhapaak which is a Megha Gulzar directorial. The film is based on the acid-attack survivor, Lakshmi Agarwal.
