Did Kangana Ranaut intervene with Mental Hai Kya shoot? Director clarifies

During the shoot of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut came into the limelight taking over the director’s work after Krish decided to walk out of the film. This led to a big controversy and Kangana was alleged to reshoot some scenes in order to make her role more prominent in the film. While this topic concluded soon enough, Kangana’s name has again come up for meddling with the shoot of her upcoming film Mental Hai Kya.

Internet was flooded with the news that the actress apparently wanted reshoot a few sequences of the film. The director Prakash Kovelamudi, however, has put an end to these rumours. Talking to a news portal, he revealed that the film has been shot without any before-mentioned nuisance. “Both Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao have been fantastic to shoot with, they bring their own energy to the film. Working on Mental Hai Kya has been a collaborative process and it’s been an incredible journey. The shift in the release date of the film has been purely made from a business perspective by the producers. We are ready to hit screens on 26th July. Any other conjecture is baseless and untrue,” cleared the director.
