After delivering a hit with Stree, Rajkummar Rao is on a roll. In fact, the actor has some acclaimed films in his kitty and is also receiving some interesting offers. The Queen actor is all geared up for his next releases Mental Hai Kya with Kangana Ranaut and Made In China with Mouni Roy. But off-late he was in the news for turning down an interesting project with Ayushamann Khurrana offered by Aanand L Rai. While this news shocked many, we might know the reason behind Rajkummar doing so.
While many might think that the actor might be apprehensive playing a homosexual character in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, some reports had stated that he was not very happy with the part. But let us tell you, none of this is the reason, Rajkummar is speculated to play a gay character soon in Dostana 2. Well, the Barielly Ki Barfi actor is seen visiting the Dharma office frequently and we think he is meeting Karan Johar for this very film. Also, it might be the John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan’s film Dostana’s sequel why Rajkummar turned down Aanand L Rai’s film.
While Dostana had John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan bromancing, there are speculations that in the film’s sequel Rajkummar will be paired with Sidharth Malhotra. Well, quite a hot couple we say! For more updates and gossip stay tuned to CineBlitz.
