Did Shah Rukh Khan just drop a hint about Don 3? Read exclusive details

Ever since reports of a Don 3 being in the pipeline have come about, the film, the makers and the star – Shah Rukh Khan – himself have been plagued with speculations. It’s been 13 years since the first Farhan Akhtar directed and SRK starrer Don (2006) hit the screens and eight since the sequel Don 2 (2011) was released. And now the third installment in the franchise is being highly-anticipated. While the makers officially state that nothing’s been finalised yet, there are insiders who claim that the pre-production on the film is already underway. In fact, there was a strong buzz that the superstar had actually opted out of the Rakesh Sharma biopic to work on Don 3 which is already an established and a commercially hit franchise.

But all the buzz apart, we think that Shah Rukh Khan himself might have dropped a hint about doing Don 3. The actor posted his latest pic on Twitter asking fans if he should just let his hair grow for a few more months. Well, not to get your spirits too high, but in all likelihood, the star may be doing this as part of his look for Farhan Akhtar’s film. After all you may recall that even in Don 2, SRK had actually sported long hair. And now with some time in hand, perhaps the star wants to opt for naturally longer hair as against using extensions! Both Don and Don 2 had gone on to do massive business at the box office. A successful franchise, the films also took Shah Rukh Khan’s action image several notches higher after a string of films in other genres. The franchise continues to be among his best action avatars and the industry and movie buffs instantly loved the greys of his character that he portrayed with immense conviction. Also the onscreen chemistry he shared with Priyanka Chopra was a high point. So naturally, there’s much excitement as far as the third film is now concerned. Well, fingers crossed for this one!
