One of the cult films of the Bollywood which was much ahead of its time competed 18 years and we definitely can’t get over Dil Chahta Hai which stars Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna, the trio that ruled over us! The film was the very first production of Excel Entertainment curated by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani in the year 1999 and Dil Chahta Hai released in 2001 and came a cult classic.

It’s been 18 years that the film rocked the industry and the film is still so relevant to today’s youth that fans are hailing the film and demanding for the sequel. Testimony of the same is the twitter trend ‘We Want DCH2’ which charted the trends section on Twitter, throughout the day.

Released on July 24, 2001, Dil Chahta Hai was based on the bond between three best friends, played by Aamir, Saif and Akshaye. It traces their journey from their carefree college days to becoming mature and responsible adults. The film won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi that year. Tiger Shroff’s character Ronnie from Baaghi 3 has made the most profound impact on the sensibilities of the audience, over the years. The actor had a great 2019 with his blockbuster hit film ‘WAR’ and previously, 2018 with ‘Baaghi 2’ and can be credited with the success of the entire franchise Baaghi. Talking about his character Ronnie, the actor has some really interesting things to say!

The audiences have loved Tiger’s avatar in Baaghi 3 and it’s not just this time but throughout the franchise where everyone has loved his mien of a  fighter. “I’m so grateful people are accepting me and my work, year after year. My routine and lifestyle are co-related to whatever little I’ve achieved in my career so far. Why change what’s working for me?’.

“I’d like to play Ronnie till my legs don’t give up on me. All the action takes its toll, but as long as I have my youth and physicality, I’d like to be a Baaghi”, he further adds as we gear up for the release of Baaghi 3 already. Giving us glimpses all this while, everyone is excited to catch Ronnie’s fight for his brother in the third installment of the most successful franchise.

On the work front, Tiger’s upcoming movie Baaghi 3 is all set to release next week on the 6th of March and is directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.

The world is excited to see how Ronnie will take over us all this time just as how the first poster look of Tiger Shroff gave us the biggest thrill, making us wait but with Baaghi 3 just a week away, we are waiting to witness Ronnie’s battle.

This summer, Coca-Cola India, one of the country’s leading beverage companies has unveiled a new campaign ‘Garmi mein Doubt Hatao, Sprite Uthao’ for its leading sparkling beverage – Sprite. The campaign in a light-hearted manner reiterates the brand’s core message of being the best refresher in the summer.

This multi-lingual campaign sees Ayushmann Khurrana & Taapsee Pannu together on screen for the first time as the face of the Hindi campaign. For Telugu audiences Kavya Thapar & Anumolu Sushanth bring the campaign to life and Anirudh Ravichander & Priya Anand are the face of the campaign for Tamil. The campaign reinforces how Sprite’s refreshment inspires youth to have the clarity to cut through others’ stereotyping and judgements. Through their friendly banter, the protagonists show how the multitude of stereotypes & judgements that society throws at today’s youth tend to distract them from what really matters to them. The campaign will be brought to life through seven TV Commercials in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and will also be aired in Kannada, Oriya, Bengali and Marathi.
