Actress Divya Dutta left her co-stars, crew, and a captivated local crowd in awe as she delivered a powerful 10-minute monologue in a single flawless take. Currently filming her upcoming project in the scenic valleys of Kashmir, Dutta plays a central role in a heartfelt mother-son story. The film, set against the backdrop of Kashmir, promises to be an emotional tale, and Dutta’s portrayal is expected to be one of its shining highlights.
The scene in question required Dutta to perform an uninterrupted, 5,000-word monologue while looking directly into the camera—a challenge for even the most seasoned actors. Remarkably, Dutta memorised every word, every pause, and every subtle inflection.
According to a source on set, “She just stood in front of the camera, completely immersed in her character, and delivered each line with such precision and emotion. It was a 10-minute take, and she didn’t miss a single beat. The entire crew was stunned.”
Witnessing her raw performance, the atmosphere on set turned electric as Dutta finished the intense scene. Her colleagues, as well as the locals who had gathered to observe the shoot, erupted into applause, visibly moved by her powerful dialogue delivery.
“The energy on set was palpable. When she finished, everyone clapped—it was one of those moments you don’t forget. Watching her work was like a masterclass in acting,” the source added.
