Dream Girl director Raaj Shandilyaa was shocked after seeing Ayushmann Khurrana in Article 15 – here’s why!

National Award winner, Ayushmann Khurrana is known to bring promising performances along with full time entertainment in his films right from Vicky Donor, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho. After watching the actor in the film like Article 15, Director Raaj Shandilya was shocked to see Ayushmann Khurrana playing a high profile cop in the film. The director who always saw Ayushmann essaying fun loving, mischievous, goofy characters was impressed and surprised at the same time as he couldn’t imagine his ability to play an IAS officer so well and with utmost perfection in Article 15.

Ayushmann Khurranna who is ridding high with success owing to his six back to back hits, recently a fan also gatecrashed Ayushmann’s Andhadhun success party decked up in a yellow saree- the one Ayushmann wore in the Dream Girl poster which is proof of the love he is getting from the audience for the brave story the superstar picks for his films.

Whatever Ayushmann does, it becomes the hot topic for his fans! After releasing the trailer of his upcoming Dream Girl, it soon became the the top trending video on youtube with  over 15 million views in less than 24 hours. Fans have been going berserk over the unique trailer ever since it has released, so much so that they have been trying to call Pooja aka the dream girl on the number given at the end of the trailer. They have also been flooding the comment section expressing their excitement, of the superstar and of Balaji motion pictures who is helming the project, on their respective social media accounts.

The poster of Dream Girl has the star looking quirky in a cotton saree and sitting on a rickshaw. Nushrat Bharucha is the lead actress paired alongside Ayushmann Khurrana with Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Annu Kapoor and Rajesh Sharma. The film is directed by Raaj Shandilya, produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Aashish Singh. Dream Girl is all set to release on 13th September 2019.
