Election Results 2019: BJP’s Babul Supriyo takes the lead in Asansol

Babul Supriyo’s has had a fair share in making headlines during the polling for Lok Sabha Elections 2019. While he faced some violence back then, all might seem to have forgotten with the results being declared today (May 23).

As per latest updates, while BJP is sweeping seats in maximum constituencies, singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo is also leading in Asansol, leaving Moon Moon Sen from Mamta Banerjee’s TMC (All India Trinamool Congress) behind. While TMC candidates have been leading in other constituencies, Babul is leading in Asansol with more than 50000 votes.
