Election Results 2019: Sunny Deol, Hema Malini winning, Urmila Matondkar, Shatrughan Sinha losing

This year’s Lok Sabha Elections have been quite interesting as far as Bollywood is concerned. From some actors debuting in politics to Shatrughan Sinha switching parties, there have been way too many leads to follow for Bollywood and politics. With the verdict day being today, here is an update of what is happening for Bollywood on the political front…

While BJP is currently leading with more than 280 seats is winning, Congress so far only has 62 seats that have been won. The latest update is that Sunny Deol who was contesting from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab from BJP (Bhartiya Janata Party), is leading by more than 7000 votes. In Rampur, Jaya Prada is losing from Azam Khan. Hema Malini is winning in Mathura, while Shatrughan Sinha has been losing in the Patna Sahib constituency. Ravi Kishan is leading by 50000 seats in Gorakhpur while Manoj Tiwari is leading by 3000 seats in North Delhi. Smriti Irani is leading with more than 7000 seats from Amethi.

While Poonam Sinha from a Samajwadi Party seat in Lucknow is losing, Urmila also has not secured many seats from Mumbai-North. Prakash Raj who was contesting independently has also faced defeat in the Bangalore Central constituency. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates on Elections 2019 results.
