Have Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl patched up? If rumours are to be believed then the two filmmakers haven’t just patched up, but Anurag is now even helping with the final cut (edit) of the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. It may be recalled that the two had a fall-out when Bahl’s name had come up in the #MeToo scandal with sexual allegations made against him last year (October, 2018). This had even led to the dissolving of their production house, Phantom Films, of which they were co-founders.

Now, an insider tells us that the two have buried their past differences. Anurag has been helping the director with the editing of his upcoming film. The source says, “The film has already been delayed and now the makers are keen to not delay it any more. While Hrithik has been helping a lot with the editing too, Bahl is glad that Anurag has stepped in for the final edit of the film which is slated for a July 26 release.” It will be interesting to see if the two also work together on any other project besides, Super 30.  What do yo have to say about this new development? In the meantime, Anurag’s own film Womaniya starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar will now be produced by Reliance Entertainment which is also co-producing Super 30. The Hrithik Roshan starrer is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and is slated to release on July 26 this year. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is being produced by Reliance Entertainment, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Phantom Films (the film was in production before the production house dissolved). The film has Mrunal Thakur playing the lead opposite Hrithik. Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is working on his next Siddharth Anand film with Tiger Shroff, which is also slated for a release this year.
