Hasti DoshiActress Nora Fatehi, actor Varun Sharma and RJ-turned-actor Aparshakti Khurana will be coming together for the first time for a musical show to be aired on Colors television. Buzz is that the show, Mirchi Top 20, is being presented in a revamped format and the trio are naturally elated to be a part of the music-based outing on the small screen.
The new show will not have the award-based format which it used to be. Now they will be doing something unique on each episode. The show will be set for three hours just like an awards show, but this time there won’t be any awards given to the singers. As of now the show is formatted in a way that it will be conducted every year in the new format with creative changes.
Noha Fatehi, the Canadian model who enthralled viewers with her sensational belly dance moves in the remake of Dilbar for the John Abraham-starrer Satyamev Jayatehas managed to carve a niche for herself in a few Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam movies. On the Bollywood platform she debuted with a small film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. But with the hot track in her kitty, the actress has shot up high on Bolly Town’s glam list.
Meanwhile, Varun, best known for Fukrey and many other films in the comedy genre like Dolly Ki Doli, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Dilwale, Raabta and Fukrey Returns is expected to lend that dash of comedy to the show.
Aparshakti Khurana have hosted many shows in past and recently he is also part of a comedy show ‘Kanpur wale Khuranas’alongside Sunil Grover. It might be possible that he would be part of this musical show as a host. So actually all eyes are now on the uncanny trio to see how they fare on the small screen outing.
