Exclusive! Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will NOT appear on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan finale

Fans and industry folks were excited to hear that the two Khans – Salman and Shah Rukh – will be coming together on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan. There were excited murmurs about the impending grand finale of the talk show’s sixth season. That too with these two biggies uniting in one frame with KJo! It would surely have been an hour of undulated fun. However, fans will be disappointed to know that the rumours aren’t true. We have learnt that the two stars will not be a part of the grand finale episode of Koffee With Karan.

Contrary to reports, Salman and SRK have not shot for the show. In fact, the set of the show has already been dismantled, that means the chances of them coming together are next to none. As an insider reveals to us exclusively, “It’s not like people have never seen them share the same platform in public. Shah Rukh has been a part of Salman’s TV show, his movies and vice-versa. Besides that, they’ve been seen at numerous award shows. But the two have never come together on Karan’s show. The format of the show is such that it would have been interesting to see one Khan take on another, especially with Karan pitting them against each other for the coveted gift hamper. Also the coffee rounds on the show’s couch have seen many controversies, so it would have been fun. Getting them together would certainly have been a coupe of sorts. But it’s not happening this season!”

Interestingly, the filmmaker and talk show host has managed another coupe of sorts by getting Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Kareena Kapoor Khan together on the last episode. The episode has already been shot and from what we hear, it will be epic! The two make an interesting pair to see. The two go back a long way and share a history of sorts too. They were reportedly good friends at one point and have even dated Shahid Kapoor. They’ve even taken pot shots at each other on the show, so we wonder how will they bond on the couch.
