Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut Kizie Aur Manny starring Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sanjana Sanghi has a new name. The film based on Josh Boone’s Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars has now been renamed as Dil Bechara. Although the production house is not offering any explanation for the new title, the name does make it more relatable. Don’t you agree?

An insider exclusive reveals, “The name was changed after much deliberation. The makers decided to make the title more relatable. Kizie Aur Manny, while sounding nice and sweet, would not register as much as a more desi title, like Dil Bechara.” The production house took to Twitter to share the new title. Check out the title here:

The film that went on floors in July 2018 is slated to release this year. It marks the debut of both the director and the actress Sanjana Sanghi. Though Sanjana had a cameo in Hindi Medium, this will be her first as a solo lead. Produced by Fox Star Studios, Dil Bechara is a romantic tragic-comedy with music by AR Rahman. The film has completed several schedules as well as a special song choreographed by Farah Khan. The cast and crew recently flew to Paris to complete a rather crucial part of the film and the last schedule and from what we hear, Saif Ali Khan has also joined them. It will be interesting to see how the hit Hollywood film is given desi twists and turns.
