Fast and Furious has been one of the most iconic franchises, entertaining the audience for almost two decades. While the cast including – Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Ludacris won hearts. Now, the news is that John Cena has been added to the ninth instalment along with the ensemble cast of the franchise and he will be seen playing a badass. The WWE wrestler had expressed a desire to join the franchise, last year.

John later took to Twitter to announce the good news, he wrote, “For nearly 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history. It’s an incredible honour to join this franchise and this family.”

As per reports, the ninth instalment is expected to have Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Nathalie Emmanuel in reprising roles. But it is said that Dwyane Johnson might not appear in this part, yes, his involvement is yet to be confirmed. The movie is slated to release on May 22, 2020.
