Game of Thrones has always been more than a show; it has been a global phenomenon. The makers aired the grand finale of the show today and the quest of the throne is solved. Eight seasons and 10 years later, today is the day we bid a final goodbye to the characters we have seen grow up. As we speak, Internet is flooding with fans expressing their love and emotions for the show.

The last episode has left many shattered as this is the very last time we get to see this world. Twitter is full of emotions of joy, of parting and well considering the last few episodes that were a bit of a disappointment. A fan talking about the finale wrote, “Daenerys has finally fulfilled her destiny. This scene was SNOW and NOT ASHES!!! “I’m not going to stop the wheel. I’m going to break the wheel.” Her death led to Bran becoming King. Dany DID break the wheel.” The scene where Drogon flies behind Dany and it looks like the wings are hers has impressed the audience the most. While there is love, some are also upset. An upset fan wrote, “Everything about the last season was disappointing except the ending of John Snow, the righteous foolish hero always trying to do the right thing, not hurting and taking advantage of anyone, ending up alone and unappreciated by even his family and fans. Accurate!”
