For actress Ginnie Virde, her show Koi Aane Ko Hai will always hold an integral place in her heart. The actress says that the process of her bagging the show is thrilling and special to her. “I was struggling in my business in Delhi and nothing was happening. Then suddenly this director who was making a music video met me and asked me to do his song for free because he didn’t have any budget. I was like, ‘Yes, why not!”. I did it and from there I got a show for DD. It was all happening in Delhi and suddenly that DD show director said that I should try my luck in Mumbai as I had a nice face. That thing stayed in my mind and I came to Mumbai after one month with 1700 rupees in my pocket. I used to survive on a sandwich and 5 rupees Maggi. After 25 days, I got a call for the show Koi Aane Ko Hai. From there, till today, I’m here,” she says.

The actress, who has been born and brought up in UP, adds, “Every show has its own place in my heart, but I have an extra soft corner for Koi Aane Ko Hai because it was my first show.” Ginnie has been part of shows such as Niyati, CID, Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hi Hai, Udaan 2 and Papa by chance. “Earlier, the content used to be very unrealistic but now it’s all realistic. The audiences are very intelligent. The medium has not only evolved but upgraded too. There is no drama anymore on TV, it’s all real,” she says.
